Audition Prep MasterClass with Kirstin Myers

Description: This masterclass will focus on how double reed (although others are welcome!) players can prepare for an audition, whether it is for a PMEA ensemble, youth orchestra, seating placement in your school ensemble or otherwise. Tips and tricks as well as strategies to help calm your nerves and encouraging self-talk will be shared in this judgement-free atmosphere. Students should bring their instrument and solo music they are prepared to play for the group.

Targeted Grade Level: (but not limited to) 6th - 12th grade
Targeted Instruments: (but not limited to!) Oboe & Bassoon
